Doosan Robotics has stepped up its support for discovering and fostering robotics talent.
Doosan Robotics sponsored the "Artificial Intelligence Robot Challenge 2024" held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, from October 25th to 26th.
The Artificial Intelligence Robot Challenge, which Doosan Robotics is sponsoring for the third year this year, is a simulation competition using deep learning and collaborative robots. It is one of the competition fields of the International Robot Contest.

Participants used Doosan Robotics' collaborative robots to perform tasks involving the creation of interlocking devices, stacked assembly,
and optimized loading. The top three teams, which were awarded the Prime Minister's Award, the Minister of Trade,
Industry and Energy's Award, and the chairman of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards' Award, respectively.
In particular, they also received the Doosan Robotics CEO Award as a special award, recognizing their outstanding originality and creativity.
Doosan Robotics currently operates five official training centers in five locations, including the Bundang Doosan Tower headquarters,
four domestic regions including Daejeon, Changwon, and Daegu, and one in Texas, USA. These centers support the regular curriculum based on
Doosan Robotics' training courses and guide, nurturing collaborative robot specialists and providing specialized training to the public to
contribute to job creation in robot-related fields.
Doosan Robotics is also actively involved in fostering talent in the domestic robotics field by establishing educational systems
in partnership with universities. It has designated the Robot Campus of Korea Polytechnic University, Dongyang Mirae University,
and Changwon National University as entrusted educational institutions in the field of collaborative robots and operates training programs
for students. The students who complete the collaborative robot training course at each university and achieve excellent grades will be
awarded a specialized training certificate certified by Doosan Robotics.
An official from Doosan Robotics said, "The Artificial Intelligence Robot Challenge is an opportunity to meet excellent professionals,"
and added, "We will continue to expand our support for discovering and fostering talent, including the operation of training centers and
the development of training courses."
