On the 17th, Doosan Group announced that it will participate in CES 2024, held in Las Vegas, US from January 9th to 12th, to showcase carbon-free total energy solutions for a cleaner and safer future, as well as the latest technologies applied with AI and unmanned automation.
Park Jeong-won, chairman of Doosan Group, will visit the CES site with Park Ji-won, vice chairman of the group, and other executives to examine the latest technology trends and explore future business directions. This marks Chairman Park’s return to CES since he last attended in 2020.
Doosan will operate exhibition space of 780 ㎡ at booth 5941 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) under the theme of Our Planet, Our Future at this year’s CES. It will also hold a press conference at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center at 3 p.m. (local time) on January 8, the day before the opening of CES. At this event, it will first introduce its differentiated technologies and products that will be showcased at this year's CES to the press, and then welcome visitors at the exhibition booth during the rest of CES.

At this year's CES, Doosan Enerbility and HyAxiom will showcase total energy solutions optimized for a carbon-neutral era, including nuclear, hydrogen, and wind power.
Doosan Enerbility, which is strengthening its position as a Global SMR Foundry (a company specializing in production) in the small modular reactor (SMR) market, will introduce its competitiveness in key manufacturing SMR machines. It will also showcase hydrogen turbines, which are attracting attention as a carbon-free power generation technology. Doosan Enerbility is pushing the development of a 400 MW-class hydrogen combustion turbine for power generation, based on its capabilities of the gas turbine that was the fifth in the world to be successfully developed. Along with this, it will also introduce eco-friendly technologies such as recycling of used batteries, recycling of wind turbine blades, and hydrogenation of biogas, which are accelerating commercialization.
Doosan's US subsidiary, HyAxiom, which possesses source technology and a production plant for hydrogen fuel cells, will unveil its Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysis system technology for producing green hydrogen. Fuel cells for ships and land vehicles that are currently under development can also be seen at this exhibition.

Doosan Bobcat will showcase innovative solutions that will be used in future workplaces. In particular, an unmanned electric concept vehicle that runs based on artificial intelligence (AI) is planned to be unveiled for the first time at this exhibition. Cutting-edge products such as the S7X, a fully electric skid-steer loader that has won two CES Innovation Awards for its success in electrification of not only internal combustion engines but also hydraulic systems, Rogue X2, an automated concept loader with no cockpit, and an automated lawn mower will also be on display.

Doosan Robotics will unveil a large number of software and robot solutions using artificial intelligence technology. A prime example is Oscar the Sorter, an AI-based recycling sorting solution that won the CES Innovation Award. A robot that uses AI technology to analyze human facial expressions and make personalized cocktails will also be introduced. Doosan Robotics will also introduce ways to develop next-generation solutions that allow robots to learn and make decisions on their own by incorporating AI into Dart Suite, an operating system that makes robots as easy to use as a smartphone without coding.

At the Doosan exhibition booth, presentations and panel discussions will be held on the successful cases of digital innovation by various companies. Doosan Digital Innovation will introduce quantum computing and cybersecurity trends, as well as projects that have won numerous global awards, such as AI Prediction of Electric Arc Furnace Steel Production Volume and Introduction of Encyclopedia Generative AI.
An official from Doosan said, "At this year's CES, we focused on showcasing that ‘technology of tomorrow for the world is today's technology for Doosan’ through various physical exhibits and scale models," and stressed, "Technologies and products that can pass on a good environment to future generations are not a distant future for Doosan, but a business that is already in progress."
